Who doesn’t love a family beach vacation packed full of fun for the kids and relaxation for the adults?
The kids are counting down the hours till they leave and the parents are left packing for everyone. While you’re trying to remember everyone’s shoes, underwear, and electronics, you might forget to pack the one bag that will make your whole week: your beach bag!
We actually suggesting packing at least two separate bags, one for the kids and one for the adults.
Adults’ Beach Bag
Chapstick with SPF
Shovel (to dig a hole for the umbrella)
*Tip: Lifeguards will sometimes have shovels to lend
iPod and Headphones
Books or Magazines
Whistle (to round up the kids from afar!)
Binoculars (to check on the kids from afar or to dolphin watch!)
Beach Towels (off-limits for kids’ sandy feet!)
Kids’ Beach Bag
First Aid Kit
Plastic Bags (for shells)
Did we mention snacks?
Lots of Water!
Watery Fruits (to help hydration)
Refreshing Drinks for Kids
Refreshing Drinks for Adults
*Tip: Most beaches do not allow glass containers on the beach and they’re just not safe for the environment. As an alternative, we suggest buying cans or mixing your drinks in a non-glass container before you hit the beach.
