The house was spacious, comfortable, and clean. The kitchen was well appointed with dishes and appliances. The stove had one burner that was not operable. The decor had been updated since we
stayed there before. The pool and hot tub were well maintained. The few things that needed attention were taken care of immediately by friendly maintenance personnel. Overall, we had a very enjoyable stay.

It was so nice to have a gas grill at our disposal. However it could use an upgrade. The lights outside lights around the pool were not working and we did have maintenance come. It appeared to be an electrical issue. Hope it was corrected

We had a wonderful week at Black Magic. Traveling with several elderly guest, the elevator was a life saver! The furniture was great and looked new, it was hard for the older folks to get up easily. My only suggestion is for Beach Realty to make a way to check out without returning to the office.

The house was absolutely beautiful, it was very clean and inviting. The kitchen was well equipped. When we arrived the workers were installing the pavers around the new hot tub. The area was quickly cleaned up.

We all had a wonderful stay at Black Magic. The home is more beautiful than the photos. The home was well equipped for all our needs. The skillets need to be replaced; however we have found the same thing in all the other homes we have rented in the past. This home is highly recommended. The fact that the owner gave us a visit bringing us donuts was much appreciated by all and was a first for us. Thank you so much for sharing this beautiful home with us.

My wife and I discussed our experience on the drive out of the neighborhood... best vacation ever!! Taught our oldest granddaughter to swim and the youngest learned to walk. Quite a week. Beautiful property that is perfect for a family get together. We have already scheduled for next year.

This was the second Christmas/New Year's Eve stay at Black Magic. Although we did not venture out much this year (due to COVID concerns)we enjoyed our stay. The house accommodates our family (multi-generational) desires well - from large kitchen, to area for children to play, to escape nooks for quiet time. The house provides a beautiful view of the coast line, thus stunning sun rises and beach activity can be easily observed from house and/or outside deck. Great location as this house is tucked away back in an older and established neighborhood and is also close to many amenities, i.e., grocery stores, shopping, movie theater, etc. I would highly recommend this rental property.

The property was everything advertised and more.
Located conveniently to enjoy local restaurants and our new go to spot, the Crazy Mason.
As an added surprise, the owner delivered fresh donuts and made sure everything was as expected.

For Christmas last year, instead of giving family gifts (more stuff they didn't need), we gave the family a week at the beach. It was a huge success and have already booked Black Magic for next year. This house has everything anyone would want in a beach home. Beach Realty was extremely attentive to our needs and sent quickly sent a handyman to build a ramp to give a handicapped family member accessibility to the decks and pool area. We can't say enough good things about this house and the service we received while there. We highly recommend!

This was our second year in Black Magic so we were already aware of it's great location and amenities. We had a fun week with great weather to celebrate three anniversaries and a birthday while we were there. The only disappointment was that we had paid an additional fee to have the pool heated this year. It was not when we arrived. A technician came out the following Monday afternoon to repair the pool heater, so we lost several days of the pool being heated during our stay. Overall though, it's a great rental.

We are blessed to have just spent our 4th year at Black Magic. This home is tucked into a quiet community but you can access anything you need within a mile or two. The layout accommodates my aging parents and teenagers ! The home is very well maintained and is even prettier than the pictures depict. The bedrooms are large, the living spaces are large with comfortable furnishings , and the kitchen will make you want to cook !!! Looking forward to another 2 week stay next year.

Great place, great location, great view. We will definitely return. My only suggestion would be to have a couple of larger frying pans. Thanks for sharing this home. My grandson who is 6 ask the ocean to save this house for us on our next visit.

Black Magic is a beautiful and spacious home. Our large family of 17 were comfortable and thoroughly enjpyed the pool and beach. There were a few problems due to heavy rain the first 2 days but Beach Realty was great and prompt in addressing them. We would definitely return.

Wow ! Just when we think Black Magic has everything we could possibly need, we were so pleased with the new outdoor upgrades. Even more room to lay by the pool with the extended pool deck, enjoying the new outdoor TV and the beautiful new stone kitchen area. It made grilling more fun !

September 2016 Second year here -- 10 adults and 8 kids. Six of the kids in one room is really a great option and the cousins love being together for the week. We come for the water - the ocean and pool plus the hot tub. Black Magic has the best pool of the dozen places we have stayed on the Grand Strand. We really like the remodeling that was completed by the pool.

Plenty of seating for relaxing in front of the TV and the wifi did not stumble even with a dozen devices connected to it.

Kitchen is top notch with the multiple refrigerators and freezer space just wish the pots and pans were better. We get to seat everyone for meals by moving the round table into the dining area.

Just wish the sharks had not come so close too shore -- but that meant the pool got more use.

Our family completely enjoyed our stay at Black Magic and we are looking forward to our return trip next year. The house is great for our large family (10 adults, 9 children), with large enough spaces for all to gather and also enough space to get away. The rooms are beautifully decorated but very practical for a family beach vacation. There was enough refrigerator and cabinet space and the kitchen has all you should need.
The pool area is beautiful and relaxing with plenty of areas to be in or out of the sun. The poolside furniture is in very good condition. The beach is just over the sand dune and within steps of the pool. It was easy to go back and forth from the beach to the house! The beach at the house is not crowded at all and is within walking distance to the pier at Myrtle Beach State Park. The house is convenient to shopping and "stuff to do" but not in the middle of it all.
The staff at Beach Realty were the best we've ever encountered during our 8 years of this family beach trip. They were professional and responsive to all questions. There were a few pool and plumbing issues during the week that were quickly resolved.

Property was ready to occupy ahead of time, was clean, was spacious, able to accommodate our family consisting of our kids and grandkids. Each family had their own space. Ample utensils, china, glassware and especially the 3 large refrigerators and separate ice maker. The 3rd floor wet bar was well used by the families on that level for breakfast, etc. Families made full use of the pool and activity areas. The storage area on grade level for beach chairs, balls, boards, umbrellas, etc. was also appreciated.
Each family prepared a dinner meal only one time for the entire group. Teams were assigned using 2 adults, 1-2 teenagers and a youngster all working together to prepare the meal and a dessert for the rest of the families. This worked very well since kitchen duty then happened only one time during the week for any one person. Each team was given a total of $135.00 to feed over 20 people to put on the feast per nite. All meals were served on paper goods, with plastic utensils, so to cut down the dishwashing details. 1st nite was do your own thing as arrivals were at different times, 5 meals were prepared and the last nite it was leftovers. Basically money was saved by not going out to eat and the younger kids got to take part in cooking and clearing, etc.
Game nites were planned as well as an art project for any one interested. Never got the time to open the 3000 piece pussle. [no last letter of the alpha on my computer keyboard] Ample on site parking and places to go. 3 nites out to the Myrtle beach fun places.

Only [2] refuse cans can be a problem, but I guess it is the law for the area.

Reported to Beach Realty a serious roof leak and a shower leak on the 2nd floor, which did not affect our stay.

This was our 2nd year at Long Bay Estates properties. The area is really very private and quiet. I would highly recommend these rentals.

Our 3rd stay at Black Magic and I heard more laughter from our 8 grand kids this week than ever before! The kids and grand kids love the pool and the ocean and this week offered the best of both. One day we had dolphins within 20 feet of swimmers and many more to observe for over an hour! Along with fun at the house groups went jet skiing; banana boating; stand up paddle boarding plus climbing on a rope course! The kitchen has more than enough refrigerator and freezer space plus it was big enough for every meal for the 16 of us to eat -- including fresh sea food from Murrells Inlet. The washer and dryer on each floor got a work out so no one had to pack dirty clothes for the trip home. Hoping to do this again next year!

The Black Magic property was clean, spacious and very comfortable for 16 adults. The kitchen was well stocked and we enjoyed the large dining table at mealtime. We had a wonderful time in this magnificent property and will return next year!

Black Magic exceeded all of our expectations. Great location, with easy access to Myrtle Beach Airport, shopping and dining. The Long Bay Estates location was like having our own private beach. Family came in from Arizona, Colorado, Virginia and NC for the week, and we have already booked again for next year. Could not have asked for anything more. For seafood we like Hot Fish Club in Murrells Inlet. Beach Realty Rentals is a outstanding company to work with.

We were a group of 7 couples on a golfing trip to MB. The house was ideal. Each couple had their own bed & bath and each bedroom was beautifully decorated. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms spacious, especially the main floor master. The open concept common area was perfect fro our after golf socializing. The ocean view was spectacular and we were able to watch the dolphins twice a day as they made their way north and south very near the beach. We hope to stay here again and highly recommend it to others.

Black Magic was a great house to rent. Very comfortable and plenty of space. The back porch and views were amazing. It is on a quiet street and the beach has no condos nearby so you have a lot of privacy. The kitchen was well equipped, but one of the coffee pots doesn't work well (It has cone shaped filters). The other one is fine. The elevator was a blessing for carrying up luggage and groceries. I would definitely rent there again.

Our four families, consisting of eleven adults and six children under the age of ten, had a wonderful time in a villa that was well designed and provided more room and facilities than we had expected. Any minor issues were dealt with in a timely fashion by a very professional staff. The only criticism: the property should come equiped with a telephone and we found the wifi weak and could only be used in certain limited areas. We will book again for next year and do not hesitate to recommand it to anyone.

This was our first family vacation in close to 20 years and we had a fantastic time. We use to come to Myrtle Beach every year as children, now we brought our children with us. The house was wonderful: being able to walk right out the door to the beach was great, the pool and hot tub were one of the highlights of the days and nights. The house had everything that you could imagine and all the little extras that you could want and more. We booked Black Magic before they started building it, watched all the updates,and were excited to see the final result. In person everything exceeded our expectations the house is fabulous and we would recommend it to anyone and will be back in the future!!! Thanks for helping us form more spectacular memories for us to cherish!!!

Black Magic was a great house for a family vacation. We had 18 adults, 2 kids and 1 toddler in the house with plenty of room. The best part of the house was the location. We all love the beach and the walk to the ocean was sooo close. We never had to fight for a spot on the sand b/c of this private community. Evenings sitting on the balcony watching and listening to the ocean was the perfect getaway. The kitchen had all the amenities you need and the elevator was a nice bonus for helping move the luggage to the different floors.
The location of the house was basically in between Murrels Inlet and Broadway on the Beach meaning you do have to drive to all locations; you cannot walk on the beach to get to a tourist attraction.
Some issues were that the Wi-Fi in the house was only working in the kitchen area but the management staff was very helpful if we needed some assistance. The backyard Jacuzzi was very hot in temperature and the barbeque area is still not completely finished, there is a bbq but water still gathers in this pit area.
Overall the house was beautiful and clean. We would strongly recommend Black Magic as your house of choice and SC Beach Realty, it will not disappoint.

My first compliment is to the folks at Beach Realty; what a GREAT professional group to work with! We had actually rented another property a few doors down from Black Magic; it unfortunately caught fire a few months before our arrival. Beach Reality scrambled to find us new accommodations and by our good fortune we were placed at Black Magic!
The house is amazing! We were 4 families and each of us was more than happy with all the attention to detail that this house offers. Comfortable beds, amazing views, HUGE pool and excellent beach access with the private walkover... the pictures are awesome, but in person it is even better. I mention the comfortable beds as you are going to happy with them after a long day of sunning or sightseeing!
The area of the beach that the house sits on is semi private so there are not tons of people on it, just enough to be interesting. The state park is just a short walk down the beach and they offer lots of fun activities for the kids to do. The location is an easily drive to the pier area of Myrtle Beach or a short drive south to quaint small southern towns!
We can’t wait to return!

Place is definately better in person. More than enough room for family reunion. Rooms and bathrooms are VERY large. Pool was perfect. Located just south of Myrtle Beach State Park and away from all the traffic of Myrtle Beach proper. May not be a good choice if you want to be in the middle of everything. You will have to drive or bike to things.

Black Magic has everything you need for a fantastic family vacation. The bedrooms and bathrooms are large and private. The family room and kitchen are great. The pictures don't do this property is even more beautiful in person.The owners have truely put a tremendous amount of thought into this home. They have covered all the details. The view is outstanding and the private neigborhood is the perfect setting. We will be back next year for 2 more weeks.Forty five years of vacationing on the NC SC coast, this is my favorite !!

Amazing house which exceeded our expectations. Be careful though, in the past year the beachfront in this area has greatly diminished so there is not any beach left during high tide. We had to wait until almost 10 am to get out on the beach. If this is fixed the house and location is perfect.

The weather was not as warm as we had hoped but the heated pool and hot tub were wonderful and saved us from having to find other activities to entertain the kids. They were happy to swim all day. The house was beautiful with more than enough space. Kitchen could be a little better stocked with utensils but that's my only complaint and it's not a very big one. Would absolutely re-book this house for another vacation.

There were 8 adults and 4 children staying in this magnificent beach house. This was a wonderful vacation and we truly enjoyed the house. We didn't lack for a thing, the kitchen was well equipped and the house was spotless. I would highly recommend this house to anyone looking for the ultimate family vacation. There was plenty of room so no one was on top of each other and the table was the perfect size for all of us to enjoy dinners together. Again, this place DESERVES 5 stars and A+++>
